Prime Minister Rowley leaves for New York to attend daughter’s graduation

May 18, 2017: Prime Minister Rowley leaves for New York to Attend Daughter’s Graduation Please be advised that the Prime Minister, Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley, will proceed on one week’s vacation starting today, May 18th 2017.

He leaves the country today for New York with his family to attend the graduation of his daughter, Sonel, which takes place on Saturday. Dr Rowley is expected to return on May 23rd 2017. Sonel Rowley is a national scholarship winner of Bishop Anstey High School. She also graduated from UWI, Cave Hill with First Class Honours and received a further scholarship to do a PhD in Child Psychology at Fordham University, New York.

In Dr. Rowley’s absence, the Honourable Colm Imbert, Minister of Finance, will act as Prime Minister.
