Minister Moses welcomes newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia

May 29, 2017: Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs welcomed His Excellency Mochammad Luthfie Witto’eng, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago during a Courtesy Call on May 24, 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs.

The Courtesy Call on Minister Moses precedes Ambassador Mochammad Luthfie Witto’eng’s presentation of his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, which will take place on Thursday 25th May, 2017. During the discussions Minister Moses noted that Trinidad and Tobago and Indonesia have collaborated in multilateral fora.

Both parties expressed an interest to explore avenues to strengthen bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest. Trinidad and Tobago established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Indonesia on 12th October, 1973.
