November 7, 2017: The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago will host the second lecture in its Timeline Lecture Series, titled History of Tobago’s Main Ridge Forest Reserve on Wednesday 8th November, 2017 at the Old Fire Station, Hart and Abercromby Streets, Port of Spain commencing 5:00 p.m.
The lecture will be presented by Dr Rita Pemberton, who is a former Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and independent researcher. She is fully immersed in research on the natural and cultural heritage of Tobago.
The lecture will focus on the Tobago Main Ridge Forest Reserve which is on record as one of oldest legally protected forest reserves in the world, and is also in the process of being recognized as a World Heritage Site.
