The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North-East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, that repair to the ruptured 42" diameter transmission main in the vicinity of Daniel Trace, Valencia was completed ahead of schedule and the supply reopened at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday 10th December, 2017.

The pipe borne water supply is being restored to affected areas from Sangre Grande in the East, to Five Rivers, Arouca in the West. However, customers are further advised that it may take between 24 to 36 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in keeping with regular pipe borne water supply schedules.

For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA's Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/4426. The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their understanding.
