On Friday, 23rd March, we join meteorological organisations around the world in celebrating World Meteorological Day. World Met Day is celebrated every year on March 23rd, to commemorate the establishment of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO).
The theme of this year's World Met Day is "Weather-Ready, Climate-Smart".
We invite you all to attend our Open House on Friday, 23rd, which will include the following:
- An opportunity to have one on one interactions with meteorologists, climatologists, and weather observers.
- Exhibitions, demonstrations, and giveaways.
- A display of the winning entries of the art and poetry competitions.
Time: 10:30 am - 2pm
Location: Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service, Rawinsonde Building, South Terminal, Piarco International Airport, Piarco (near Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard).
