Service interruption to parts of South Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday May 17, 2018, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
This has become necessary due to a planned power interruption by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will affect the operation of the water treatment plant and associated booster stations in the Tabaquite area.
Areas to be affected include:
Princes Town and environs New Grant

  • Malgretoute                                Barrackpore
  • Williamsville                               Borde Narve
  • Buen Intento                              St Mary’s
  • Manahambre                              Piparo
  • Rio Claro                                    Marabella
  • Tabaquite                                   Gasparillo
  • Diamond Village                        Golconda
  • Vistabella                                   Ste. Madeline
  • Cocoyea                                     Penal Rock Road
  • Guaracara

Customers are asked to manage their water use efficiently, as it may take 4 to 8 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas, after the Plant returns to full operation.
