The Trinidad & Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) as part of its mandate under the Metrology Act launched verification exercises targeting weighing devices used in industry for manufacturing, processing and various sectors of industry.
These exercises ensure quality and accuracy in measure for the basis for health,safety and trade. Pumps across the country will be checked to ensure the quantity of gas purchased is received and all dispensers verified will be labelled with a verification sticker.
