April 28, 2016: The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) has noted Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley’s comments made at today’s Post Cabinet briefing regarding officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service receiving preferential treatment in attaining HDC houses amongst other benefits.
These allegations are serious as it has the potential to compromise our criminal justice system.
The PCA has therefore initiated an independent investigation into these allegations to determine whether or not the conduct of the officers falls within the PCA’s remit.
