The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Tuesday December 4, 2018, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
This is due to a planned power interruption by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will affect operations at the Navet Water Treatment Plant.
Areas to be affected include:
Bristol Village, Mafeking Village, Union Village, Agostini Village, Rio Claro, San Pedro, Poole, Tableland, New Grant, Brickfield, Brothers Road, Biche, Charuma, Tabaquite, St. Julien, Hindustan, Indian Walk, St. Marys’, Barrackpore, Princes Town, Williamsville, and Hard Bargain.
Customers are further advised that it may take 4 to 6 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas, after the Plant returns to full operation.
For further information or assistance, customers can contact the Authority’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
