On Monday April 01, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago presented a cheque valued at $210,869.84 to the Trinidad and Tobago Boxing Association towards their participation at the 2019 Pan Am Qualifiers in Nicaragua.
Before the cheque presentation, which took place at the Ministry’s Head Office in St. Clair, Acting Permanent Secretary Farook Hosein spoke with officials from TTBA and wished the Association and its members the very best at the Pan Am Qualifiers.
The contingent which consists of nine boxers and two coaches, will be leaving for Nicaragua on April 02 to return to Trinidad and Tobago on April 11 2019.
