The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant that there will be a partial shutdown of the facility from 12:00 Noon, on Monday 8th April, 2019.
This is in order to carryout emergency maintenance works at the Plant, as well as on a defective valve at the site of the new Curepe interchange. The disruption in service will impact customers in areas of Central and South West between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 8:00 p.m.; while the supply to areas in North will be restored by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday 9th April, 2019.
The areas affected include:
North Trinidad served by the Valsayn Booster Station A & B: | |

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 36 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, following resumption of full operations at the Plant.
