The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Central Trinidad that there would be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 27th June 2019, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works along the Freeport Mission Road, in the vicinity of the Bridge B1/3.

Areas to be affected include:

Central Park, Balmain, Gran Couva, Mayo, Tortuga, Siewdass Road, Freeport, Chickland, Preysal and environs inclusive of Freeport Mission Road, Sesame Street, Melanie Gardens, Santa Clara Road, Lower Couva Road, Nasir Trace, Powdharie Road and Sealey Trace

Customers are advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipeborne water supply schedules.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the jobsite and follow the instructions of traffic control officers. For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.

The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
