The Trinidad and Tobago Fashion Company Limited (FashionTT), in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Office of Trinidad and Tobago and IP lawyer, Mr. Anthony Vieria, will be hosting an Intellectual Property Workshop on Friday 30th August 2019 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Participants will learn how to promote awareness of intellectual property within the local fashion industry, key IP segments such as copyright, trademarks, industrial designs and patents. They will also deal with commercial contracts and best practices related to licensing, franchising, partnering and employment, the use of IP rights to reduce risk.
Fashion designers face a unique set of challenges in protecting their intellectual property. After numerous requests from stakeholders within the local fashion industry, FashionTT is proud to make this learning resource a reality.
