29th August 2019: The Consumer Affairs Division (CAD) of the Ministry of Trade and Industry is seeking the assistance of all consumers with the completion of the 2019 Basket of Goods survey. The online survey is accessible online via link https://forms.gle/RrgPeFUxZnsNeyuT7.
The data gathered from the survey informs the work of the Division and various government agencies and departments. The CAD utilises the survey findings in its monthly price monitoring conducted at supermarkets nationwide, research and policy making.

It indicates inflation levels impacts and informs government policy. The prices of the items in the basket of goods also directly or indirectly affects the financial decision of the consumers.
