The Honourable Faris Al-Rawi, M.P., Attorney General and Minister of LegalAffairs met with Deputy Assistant Secretary, Richard Glenn from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs on Wednesday 30th October 2019 at the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, AGLA Tower, Government Campus Plaza, Corner London and Richmond Streets, Port of Spain.
DAS Glenn’s Bureau is the source Bureau at the State Department for nearly all of the US Govt’s training assistance to Trinidad and Tobago under the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative, including their work on criminal justice reform with the police service, prison service, DPP, and judiciary, as well as legislative assistance on civil asset forfeiture.
