Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard Maritime Operations Patrol

The Ministry of National Security in conjunction with the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard will be conducting a Maritime Operations Patrol and Media Tour. This exercise is carded to take place on Wednesday 06 November 2019 from 0730 hrs to 1130 hrs (7:30 am to 11:30 am) commencing from and concluding at the point of embarkation at the Port of Spain International Waterfront Centre, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain.

The purpose of the tour is to provide greater insight and exposure to the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard’s maritime-based operations within an important area of responsibility, the Gulf of Paria. The Minister of National Security, The Honourable Stuart Young, as well as members of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard, will be present to respond to questions during the exercise.

Please be advised that no more than two (2) representatives are permitted per media house. Assignment Editors are asked to email the names and contact details of the reporters, videographers and photographers attending to ttdfj8media@gmail.com by 1400 hrs (2:00 pm) on Tuesday 05 November 2019, in order for them to be granted access to the vessel. All media personnel are asked to promptly gather at the point of embarkation by 0700 hrs (7:00 am) on Wednesday 06 November 2019 where they will be met and escorted on to the vessel.
