Port of Spain, Trinidad – Sunday February 02, 2020– Tourism Trinidad Limited (TTL) will be participating as an exhibitor in the 2020 Energy Conference “Shaping the Caribbean’s Energy Future” that will be taking place from February 03-05, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. A successful engagement at this highly prominent event will further position Trinidad as a viable option for high-level regional and international meetings, events and conferences.
The theme of the TTL’s booth is “The Business of Tourism”.
Tourism Trinidad has identified business tourism as one of the three (3) key niches for the main strategic thrust of Destination Trinidad (the others being sports and events). We have a unique opportunity to capture greater market share in the Meetings Events and Conference space as this niche continues to generate strong interest for the Destination.
As such, presence at the high visible 2020 Energy Conferencse is integral to Tourism Trinidad’s positioning of Destination Trinidad as the “Business Hub of the Caribbean”. The Energy Conference presents a vital opportunity to establish business contacts, prospects and other leads that will enable the company to deliver upon its goals and mandate of increased arrivals, increased hotel occupancy, destination awareness and education and increased contribution to Gross Domestic Product.
We will be meeting and networking with key decision makers, thought leaders and industrialists in the energy sector to understand their ideologies and concepts to promote a healthy energy industry and to understand how we can assist their specific business needs in progressing the sector through the provision of meetings, conferences and/or events and other business-related facilities in support of regional and international business engagements. This will ultimately expand our business market; positively impacting other tourism subsectors.
Exhibiting at Booth #32 in Regency V & VI, Tourism Trinidad Limited will present the Planner Guide of meetings and conference facilities offered by the destination as well as deep dive into our sporting and events facilities; showcasing the breadth of what Trinidad has to offer for business, sporting and event engagements.
Senior executives from Tourism Trinidad Limited and other stakeholder groups will be available at the TTL booth for one on one meetings, regarding development of customised accommodation and conference packages, and in-booth presentations throughout the three-day long event.
In addition to this, an interactive display has been set up to showcase Trinidad’s myriad tourist sites and attractions - immersing delegates in all that is unique and authentic about Trinidad.
Organised by the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, the Energy Conference is the largest and most prestigious business-focused conference in the Caribbean Region and is expected to draw this year over one hundred (100) major exhibitors from around the world and over 1,400 visitors.
