Temporary closure of Sangre Grande Magistrates' Court

September 30, 2016: The Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago advises that the Sangre Grande Magistrates’ Court located at Eastern Main Road, Sangre Grande will be closed from Friday 30^thSeptember to

Monday 3^rdOctober, 2016 to facilitate necessary remedial works on the court building. All persons who are out on bail or who have matters before the Sangre Grande Magistrates’ Court are advised to attend Court from Wednesday 5^thOctober 2016 the purpose of getting their adjourned dates.

Charge cases will be sent to the Arima Magistrates’ Court on the two days of the closure (Friday 30^thSeptember and Monday 3^rdOctober 2016) to be dealt with accordingly. Persons on charge cases will return to Court on Tuesday 4^thOctober 2016, if in custody, and any day Of the following week, if granted bail.

The Sangre Grande Magistrates’ Court will resume normal operations from Tuesday 4th October 2016.

Any inconvenience is regretted. The public is invited to be guided accordingly.
