200 T&TEC employees to be recognised at annual awards

November 17, 2016: The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) will host its 62nd Annual Employee Recognition and Awards ceremony to close its 70th anniversary year this Saturday, November 19 at the Regency Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Trinidad, at 5:00 p.m. The theme for the event acknowledges the anniversary: “The Power to Make it Work since 1946”.

Two hundred employees will be recognised for 20 to 42 years of service, with special awards for the Best Performing Employees in each department; Best Performing Department/Area in the areas of safety, cost effectiveness and customer service; and Safe Driving.

Newly-appointed Minister of Public Utilities, the Honourable Fitzgerald Hinds, Minister of Public Utilities, will deliver the feature address. T&TEC’s Chairman, Mr. Keith Sirju and T&TEC’s General Manager, Mr. Kelvin Ramsook are also expected to address the audience.

Members of the media are invited to cover this event.

Dress code is formal.
