The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has advised that, at 8am today, Piarco recorded 142.1mm of rainfall for the month- so far- which makes March 2018 the wettest March on record since records began in 1946.
March on average is the driest month of the year in Trinidad and Tobago. On March 4th, 2018, Piarco recorded 128.4 mm of rainfall and thundershower activity, across parts of Trinidad.
1972 was the last time thundershowers were reported in March at Piarco.
