Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs highlighted the significant strides that were made to advance the bilateral agenda between Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil, notably in the areas of health, agriculture and training.
These sentiments were expressed during his remarks delivered on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago at a reception held on 5th September, 2019 to commemorate Brazil’s 197th Anniversary of Independence.
Moreover, Minister Moses also took the opportunity to reiterate the commitment of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to collaborating with the Government of Brazil for the mutual benefit of both nations and their citizens.
In his statement delivered at the event, His Excellency Antonio Gomes Piras, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil expressed his country’s desire for both nations to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation. Additionally, Ambassador Piras reaffirmed Brazil’s interest in expanding relations with Trinidad and Tobago.
