July 29, 2016: The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of Port-of-Spain, who are currently experiencing low pressures or no water supply that this is due to a broken 21” transmission main, located along Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain, in the vicinity of the Diego Martin Maxi-Taxi stand.

Emergency repairs are currently underway and is expected to be completed by 7:00 p.m. today - Friday 29th July 2016.

Areas to be affected include:
• Southern part of Port of Spain, including Wrightson Road, Independence Square, as far north as Duke Street;
• Morvant and Barataria
Customers are advised that following the completion of repairs, it may take between 2 to 3 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas.

The Authority has assigned additional water trucks to assist affected businesses in the Port of Spain area.

For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
