August 4, 2016: We’ve all heard of Tobago’s brand, “Clean, Green, Safe and Serene”. Now, it’s got an official logo, to be used in THA promotional events and materials.

The logo was designed by Everard J. Mc Bain Jr. of Trinidad, winner of the Comprehensive Economic Development Plan (CEDP) Logo Competition.

His was one of the 115 entries from Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, Canada, and Denmark, Finland and Serbia.

Bain’s design features a conch shell (representing Tobago’s blue waters and aquatic wildlife and a leaf, symbolising it’s lush hillsides, flora and fauna and its commitment to preserving the environment.

CEDP Coordinator, Dr. Elton Bobb said the logo was chosen because of “its flexibility, and something with which Tobagonians can connect”.
