October 19, 2016: The Ministry of National Security is aware of issues currently being expressed by the National Union of Government and Federated Workers (NUGFW) pertaining to the operations of the Lifeguard Services.
The Ministry has previously engaged in dialogue with the NUGFW on many of the matters affecting lifeguards and has begun to take action on those matters. The Ministry remains committed to working with the Union to address the issues identified.
In this regard, the Ministry will seek to convene another meeting with the NUGFW shortly in its continued efforts to treat with all concerns and issues raised.
