Cadette said one school, Mason Hall Secondary, is now being assisted by the Children’s Authority and Child Protection Unit. “We have been working with all those stakeholders and the management in school and the families in question, to try to find strategies to the issues that affects the child, the issues that affects the family, and of course, (to) ensure that the child can function adequately within the school environment,” Cadette said.
The Education Secretary said situations involving minors are very sensitive and must be handled under strict confidentially.
