October 19, 2016: Through the Ministry’s active surveillance and pest management strategy, Moruga locusts have been observed in the Nariva/Mayaro County.
Spraying with two mistblowers using Baygon commenced yesterday (October 18) and is ongoing.
Today, surveillance is being conducted at Lazzari Road, Riverside Road, Begesse Trace and Mora Valley Road.
